Scorers: Thiaw 5' (OG), Gineitis 76'; Reijnders 74'
Milan got off to the worst possible start as goalkeeper Mike Maignan continued his poor run of form, racing out of his box to make a clearance and managing to hit the back of Malick Thiaw with his kick.
The Rossoneri were handed a way back into the game when the referee blew for a penalty after Torino's Marcus Holmgren Pedersen handled the ball inside the area, but goalkeeper Vanja Milinković-Savić made the save from a Christian Pulisic free-kick.
After battling for almost 70 minutes, Milan got themselves level when Tijjani Reijnders scored with a superbly struck effort from inside the box.
Yet being back on level terms lasted just two minutes as a quickly-taken free-kick from Torino, allowing Gvidas Gineitis to run one-on-one with goalkeeper Maignan and slam his finish beyond the French goalkeeper.
That result leaves Milan down in seventh position in the table, while Torino hop up to 11th.
