AC Milan and Roma have had another meeting to discuss the future of Tammy Abraham and Alexis Saelemsekers, following the loan exchange in the summer. However, according to a report, there is no agreement yet.
On deadline day in the summer, Milan and Roma agreed to a loan exchange for Tammy Abraham and Alexis Saelemaekers. As there wasn’t much time, no buy-out options were included in the deal and this means new negotiations are needed after this season.
According to Matteo Moretto, the two clubs recently had a meeting to discuss the matter. Abraham would like to stay at Milan, while Saelemaekers would like to stay at Roma, so the clubs are keen on reaching an agreement for permanent transfers. So far, however, they have failed.
As the journalist continues, the two clubs have different valuations in mind and negotiations have been postponed until the next meeting. It’s likely that they will sit down towards the end of the season again to assess the situation.
For now, Abraham is focused on doing his best for Milan and he’s beaming after the winner against Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana final. Saelemaekers is also in very good form after recovering from an injury which held him back.
