Napoli have reportedly agreed a loan with option to buy deal with Bournemouth for Philip Billing, according to Sky Sport Italia, therefore dropping Cesare Casadei of Chelsea.
The Partenopei wanted a new midfielder for the January transfer window and had looked towards the Premier League once again for reinforcements.
Casadei was their first choice, but the Chelsea asking price and his salary proved important sticking points.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli have instead gone for the cheaper alternative, snapping up Billing from Bournemouth.
He had also been linked with a potential transfer to West Ham United.
It is believed to be a loan move with an option to buy at the end of the season for €9-10m.
Billing is a Denmark international who has amassed 10 Premier League appearances so far this season for the Cherries.
His versatility drew Napoli, as he can play in several different midfield roles.
This allows Torino to get back into the role of favourites to secure Casadei from Chelsea.
