The Blues want to bring him to Stamford Bridge to bolster their ranks after losing Mykhailo Mudryk. There have been talks of a swap deal involving Christopher Nkunku, a target for the Red Devils.

However, most fans of the west London club are against the signing of the 20-year-old and want a more refined winger. These supporters have been anxious, hoping the plans to sign the Man United star fall through.

Their wishes may just come through after Gianluca DiMarzio reported that Napoli are back in the race for Garnacho, making new contacts to secure his signature.

Chelsea fans are tired of seeing the sporting directors chuck this team full of inexperienced players and want a more prominent name competing with Jadon Sancho on the left flank.

The Blues need killers in the final third, and Garnacho’s decision-making in terrific positions leaves plenty to be desired. His dribbling to open space can also be tacky.

However, the Argentine winger does have some good things going for him. Only seven players across the top five European leagues aged 21 or younger have more goals and assists this season than Garnacho across all competitions. He has eight goals and five assists in 33 games, with massive room for improvement.

The scrutiny at Man United has been far too much considering his age. It is easy to forget that he is only 20 and has his whole career ahead of him to develop into a feared attacker.

Garnacho might not be what the Blues need right now but he is a terrific footballer who can take the world by storm with patience and refinement.

Chelsea fans are out of patience and hope to see their team bring more ready-made solutions in the transfer market. After failing to clinch Champions League football for two consecutive campaigns they must strengthen their squad for a top-four finish this season.
