That adds up to a total of 24 goals in 25 starts for Salah, with 15 of those coming away from home.
The Egyptian has now broken another club record, this time for the most prolific away record in a single Premier League campaign, surpassing the tally set by Luis Suárez in 2013/14.
Villa levelled up the scoring soon afterwards, leaving Liverpool with work to do in this fixture.
