The NUFC Head Coach speaking ahead of this match at Selhurst Park.

Eddie Howe hoping to see his team bounce back to the winning form shown against Chelsea, Arsenal and Forest, having lost to West Ham on Monday.

Official Newcastle United injury update – Availability for the Crystal Palace match (and beyond):

Bruno Guimaraes – The midfielder subbed late in the game against West Ham. Eddie Howe says his (glute) injury os not serious and they will make a decision today as to his involvement or not, against Crystal Palace.

Lewis Miley – No injury worries for the teenager but Eddie Howe wanting to give him time on the pitch, so the plan is for the midfielder to play tonight for the Under 21s at Whitley Park, against… Crystal Palace Under 21s. Lewis Miley didn’t make the bench on Monday with Eddie Howe having plenty of options, so this sounds the right move to make.

Joe Willock – The former Arsenal player suffered a freak injury to his leg in a collision with Sean Longstaff He carried on to half-time but was then subbed by Eddie Howe. The NUFC Head Coach says that just like Bruno, they will make a decision today as to Willock’s involvement (or not) against Palace, though again Eddie Howe says there is no serious injury.

Callum Wilson – Howe confirming that the striker suffered no adverse reaction against West Ham when getting his first minutes of the season, so he is available for Saturday at Selhurst Park.

Dan Burn is back available after missing the West Ham match due to picking up a one match ban, after a fifth PL booking of the season at Forest.

So it appears that Lascelles, Botman and Krafth will all remain out, with then Eddie Howe making a decision today after training on whether or not Joe Willock and Bruno will be in tomorrow’s matchday squad.
