The two teams go into the match level on points. The Nerazzurri do, however, have a game in hand on the Bianconeri.

There is, therefore, the feel of a potential title-decider at the Stadio Olimpico.

Accordingly, Inter coach SImone Inzaghi has decided to go with a full-strength starting eleven.

Firstly, Yann Sommer starts in goal – the Swiss continues his record of starting every match for Inter this season.

Then, in defense, Yann Bisseck gets the nod. The German starts in the back three alongside Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni.

Therefore, it’s the same back three that started against Parma and Bayer Leverkusen.

Inter coach Inzaghi has few options in defense considering the injuries to Benjamin Pavard and Francesco Acerbi.

Next, on the flanks it is Denzel Dumfries who gets the nod over Matteo Darmian on the right. Meanwhile, at left-wingback Federico Dimarco starts.

Then, in midfield Inzaghi has gone for the first-choice starting trio.

Therefore, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Nicolo Barella start.

Lastly, in attack it is the first-choice strike partnership of captain Lautaro Martinez with Marcus Thuram.
