Paris Saint-Germain won 3-0 against Stade Brestois in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League knockout play-off on Tuesday night at Stade de Roudourou, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring twice.
Dembélé scored PSG’s second goal, his 14th of 2025, just before halftime to put the team two goals up. The move started with a quick one-touch pass, with João Neves spotting Achraf Hakimi’s run on the right.
Neves played the ball to Dembélé, who used Hakimi’s movement to cut inside on his left foot and blast a powerful shot past Bizot at the near post. Starting the year with a scoring surge, Dembélé grabbed his second goal in the second half.
A one-two with Bradley Barcola didn’t quite come off, but with Brest’s defense giving him space, the 27-year-old pushed forward and finished in the 66th minute. That took his tally to 15 goals in 2025, continuing his impressive run.

OptaJean highlighted that Dembélé has scored in each of his last eight matches across all competitions, matching the best streak ever for a PSG player—joining Neymar (twice), Carlos Bianchi, and Kylian Mbappé.
The PSG forward has the opportunity to make club history when Luis Enrique and his team face Toulouse FC on Saturday at Stadium de Toulouse. If he scores a goal, he will extend his streak the nine matches and surpass Neymar, Bianchi, and Mbappé.
