Paredes ahead of Milan vs. Roma: “Today is the perfect day to respond”

Following last weekend’s win over Parma, Roma head to San Siro this evening to face-off against Milan in Matchday 18 of Serie A.

Before kickoff, midfielder Leandro Paredes appeared on DAZN to discuss the Giallorossi’s approach against the Rossoneri, his expectations for the game, and Roma’s need to build momentum.

“Today is obviously the perfect day for us to give a response (after the win against Parma),” Paredes stated.

“We need to put in a strong performance against a great team in a very challenging stadium. We’ll do our best to take points home.”

He continued, “Certainly we’ll be a bit more defensive with Pisilli starting instead of El Shaarawy. Their midfield is strong and intelligent, and I believe that’s the reason behind the decision.”

Kick-off is scheduled for 20.45 CET on Sunday evening at San Siro.
