Could America be the next stop for the former Manchester United and Juventus star?

Pogba and that LAFC defeat aside, here are some of the main talking points from the key performances in the fourth round of matches in the 2025 season.

Brian White – Vancouver Whitecaps

Brian White scored the only goal of the game as Vancouver Whitecaps defeated FC Dallas to emerge as the only side in the country still with a 100 per cent record.

Lionel Messi – Inter Miami CF

The mighty Argentine star scored to get his side back on level terms against Atlanta United and then played a key role in Fafa Picault’s 89th minute winner. Miami remain undefeated too.

Julian Fernandez – New York City FC

Another player from Argentina making his mark this weekend was New York’s Julian Fernandez, who starred in his side’s 2-1 win over New England Revolution. The young forward, 21, put his side in front and was later pivotal in assisting Alonso Martínez’s match-winner after New England came back into the game.

Guilherme Biro – Austin FC

Brazilian striker Guilherme Biro was Austin’s goalscoring hero when he headed in from a first-half corner to secure a huge win away to LAFC. Biro then had his defence to thank for ensuring his effort was the only goal of the game.

Dejan Joveljic – Sporting Kansas City

The Serbia international striker Dejan Joveljic was the toast of Kansas City as he scored the late equaliser to secure his side their first point of the new season. And it felt worth more than a point after Joveljic struck ten minutes from time after visitors Minnesota had been three goals up after only 46 minutes.
