Inter teen prodigy Aleksandar Stankovic has enjoyed an outstanding season on loan at Swiss outfit Luzern. However, he will probably change the air in the summer after attracting interest across Europe.

Per Swiss news outlet Blick via FCInter1908, Bundesliga powerhouse Stuttgart could be Stankovic’s next destination. Sebastian Hoeness’ charges reportedly ponder a summer swoop for the 19-year-old sensation, with Inter open to discussing another loan agreement.

Stankovic joined Luzern on a season-long loan last summer. Tipped to win the ‘Midfielder of the Year’ award in the Swiss top flight, he has earned admirers in high places at Swissporarena. Furthermore, Luzern can purchase Stankovic permanently for a mere €1.5 million.

However, Inter have included a buyback clause in Stankovic’s deal. That would allow them to repurchase the son of legendary midfielder Dejan Stankovic for a fee of €3m. Yet, they would likely send him out on another loan to gain more experience and much-needed playing time.

Stuttgart have noticed Stankovic’s rise to prominence in Lucerne and may approach Inter in the coming months. Still, the Germans are not the only side keen on signing the talented playmaker. Belgian giants Anderlecht and Club Brugge are also in the mix.

In addition, several Serie A clubs closely monitor Stankovic’s progress, viewing him as a low-risk, high-reward investment for the future. Interest from Italy could complicate Stuttgart’s pursuit, as Inter may prefer to keep the youngster closer to home to better track his development.
