Real Madrid starlet Arda Guler played down speculation linking him with a summer exit despite Inter Milan’s alleged interest.
Speaking to Spanish outlet Marca via FCInterNews, Guler quashed recent rumors about his future at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The 20-year-old playmaker left his boyhood club, Fenerbahce, to join Los Blancos in the summer of 2023.
Despite arriving at the club as a generational talent, Guler has struggled to secure regular first-team football in Madrid.
Indeed, fierce competition for places has demoted him to a second-string star, raising questions about his future.
Meanwhile, Inter ace Hakan Calhanoglu recently called his international colleague to join him at the San Siro.
Calhanoglu and Guler share the dressing room in Turkey’s national team and have recently helped them to a massive achievement.
Vincenzo Montella’s side thrashed Hungary 6-1 to secure top-tier promotion in the UEFA Nations League.
However, the two will likely remain teammates only on international level.

“Real Madrid has a project for me, and I still believe in it,” Arda Guler stated.
“I’m sure I will find my place; I even bought a house in the city.”
Guler also reiterated his commitment to the game.
“I work hard and am always ready to play, as was evident in this match against Hungary,” he added.
More importantly, he proclaimed his love for Real Madrid despite his game-time struggles.
“I love Real Madrid fans, and their support means a lot to me; Therefore, I feel grateful in that regard,” Guler continued.
“I came to Real Madrid to play and with the goal of becoming an important part of this team.
“And I won’t stop fighting until I achieve that,” he concluded.
Guler’s rejection probably means Inter will focus on completing their long-standing pursuit of Como prodigy Nico Paz.
