The competition for a starting spot in Real Madrid’s attack has never been stronger as Los Blancos have some of the world’s best wingers in their arsenal competing for the same niche on the field.
Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr., two of the biggest names in the game, command an automatic starting spot. Rodrygo Goes is now making a strong case for the third spot but continues to be the player dropped first for any tactical change.
Given his situation and the lack of clarity over his place in the team, he has been linked with a move away from Real Madrid in recent months. The player, for his part, has not shown any signs of a desire to leave.
Rodrygo has been closely linked with the Premier League in recent years with Manchester City and Liverpool both vying to sign him as a quality reinforcement in attack.
Now, as relayed by Abdellah Boulma, PSG will position themselves to sign Rodrygo should the chance arise in the summer.

The French club admire his versatility in the final third and see him as a solid option to strengthen the attack which already comprises Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola.
Rodrygo will thus have no dearth of options come June, as even Liverpool continue to eye him as a replacement for Mohammed Salah.
The final decision will be down to the player himself. As of today, he leans towards staying and scripting history in the Spanish capital, and his contract until 2028 makes it difficult for any suitors to negotiate a move.
So far this season, the 24-year-old has made 17 league appearances for Los Blancos, 13 of which have been starts. He has scored six goals and provided four assists in that duration.
