Christopher Nkunku’s future at Chelsea is becoming increasingly uncertain, with top European clubs reportedly eyeing the forward.
According to TEAMtalk, Barcelona are exploring the possibility of a January loan move for Nkunku if they encounter delays in registering Dani Olmo. The Catalan side are working to free up space for Olmo but may turn to Nkunku as an alternative if outgoing transfers take longer than expected.
Barcelona are reportedly interested in negotiating a loan deal with Chelsea, potentially sharing Nkunku’s salary to stay within their financial limits. However, the club would still need to offload additional players to improve their financial flexibility. The length of the loan could also be a key factor in any agreement.

Journalist Romain Collet Gaudin reports that PSG is looking to bring Nkunku back this January on a loan deal that includes an option to buy.
Nkunku arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2023 following a £52 million transfer but has struggled to cement a consistent starting role. This has only intensified speculation about his future.
This week, journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that PSG are genuinely interested in Christopher Nkunku, though they haven’t made a move to approach Chelsea yet. Chelsea are keen to hold on to the player, so any chance of him leaving would likely depend on Nkunku pushing for it. Meanwhile, the Blues aren’t expected to go after Kolo Muani.
