Real Madrid pay Fenerbahçe fresh €4 million for Arda Güler | OneFootball

The board at La Liga giants Real Madrid recently forwarded a fresh payment to their counterparts at Turkish outfit Fenerbahçe.

That’s according to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who points towards as much as having come in relation to the transfer of Arda Güler.

Midfielder Güler of course made the move to Spain’s capital in the summer of 2023, in a highly-anticipated transfer from Fenerbahçe.

The 20-year-old has since gone on to endure something of a hit-and-miss time of things in Spain, albeit with recent weeks having seen Güler again showcase flashes of his unquestionable potential.

And it was owing to one such recent outing, that Real Madrid were forced to pay up once more.

As per Yağız Sabuncuoğlu:

‘Fenerbahçe earned a bonus income of 4 million euros as per the clause in the contract with Arda Güler playing his 50th official match with Real Madrid.’

It is also added that Fener are entitled to a friendly meeting with Real Madrid as per the terms of the agreement.
