Raul Asencio’s rise at Real Madrid was not one many saw coming, but is a development that will leave a deep impression on young players in the academy who dream of playing for the first-team.
Real Madrid, over the years, have not been known to give young talents chances on the big stage for they have always been a institution that believes in signing the world’s elite.
Yet, that does not go to say that their academy has players who are not worthy of playing in the top division for they often find suitors across the globe in top leagues.
As relayed in a recent update by Jorge C Picon, Real Madrid are looking to ensure that the future of their young talents is secure at the club. Bryan Bugarin is the latest player on their agends on that front.
The left-footed attacking midfielder moved to Real Madrid from Celta Vigo’s academy in 2021 and created a massive divide between the two fanbases at the time given how highly he was rated in Galicia.
Since his arrival, he has not failed to deliver an impact for the subsidiary teams and the club have high expectations from him going forward.
The player recently turned 16 years old and the Spanish journalist relays that Los Blancos are all set to hand him his first professional contract with Real Madrid immediately.
The agreement between the club and the player is complete and the teenage gem will sign the document very soon. After all, Real Madrid have been clear that the paperwork should be completed soon.
Real Madrid hope that the player will reach the Castilla team in the coming years and that he can carve a name out for himself either as a contender to pay for the first team or to attract interest from outside.
