Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has set out a clear objective for his recovery from injury.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the latest considerations of the France international.

Frontman Mbappé, for his part, was of course this week dealt a blow.

As much came on the back of Real Madrid’s La Liga downing of Deportivo Alavés on Tuesday night.

After complaining of discomfort during the game’s closing stages, the summer arrival in Spain was put through a round of medical tests yesterday morning.

And as much confirmed that Mbappé had suffered ‘an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg’.

Real Madrid’s star attacker, in turn, is expected to miss the next three weeks of action.

Safe to say, however, that Mbappé has not allowed his latest fitness setback to damage his ambitions when it comes to the weeks and months ahead.

This comes amid confirmation that the former Paris Saint-Germain standout is already making plans for his return.

As per the aforementioned Marca, whilst Mbappé could mark his competitive comeback against Celta Vigo on October 19th, it is the ensuing round of La Liga fixtures which the 25-year-old has really set his sights on.

This comes with the prolific attacker absolutely determined to have returned to full fitness in time to feature from the off in the season’s first edition of El Clásico, at the Santiago Bernabéu on October 26th.
