Endrick has not had many opportunities in his debut season at Real Madrid, but he has made the most of those he has received.

With Real Madrid set to face Valencia this Saturday, the Brazilian hopes that Carlo Ancelotti – who usually only brings him on in the final minutes – will reward his recent performances with more time on the pitch, according to Mundo Deportivo.

A starting role remains unlikely, as that position is reserved for Kylian Mbappe. However, Endrick could be among the first substitutions, rather than coming on late when the game is already decided, leaving little room for him to shine.

Impressive numbers despite limited minutes

So far this season, Endrick has played just 523 minutes, but he has already scored seven goals – five in the Copa del Rey and two in La Liga.

These are impressive numbers considering his limited playing time, his age, and the challenge of establishing himself in a star-studded squad. His confidence remains high, and he believes he can turn his situation around.

The 18-year-old centre-forward has come up with crucial contributions at key points in games – such as his brace against Celta Vigo as well as goals against Real Sociedad in both legs of the Copa del Rey semi-final.

As such, he is hoping that the manager rewards him with more minutes on the field, even if it is unlikely to be in a starting capacity.

Ultimately, the decision lies with Ancelotti. The nature of the match could also play a role, and with Real Madrid playing at home against Valencia, it may not be the most demanding fixture – perhaps giving Endrick the chance he is looking for.
