Milan got back to winning ways after a shaky stretch with a narrow victory away to Hellas Verona.
Scorers: Reijnders 56'
It was not long ago that Milan was getting boo'd off of their own pitch, but away from home Friday evening that played with a bit more control.
Despite dominating the ball and tempo of the affair at the Marcantonio Bentegodi, they struggled to find their footing in front of goal.
To make matters worse, Rafael Leão was forced out of the match with an injury in the first-half.
But they finally found the opener they perhaps deserved thanks to Tijjani Reijnders, who continued his superb campaign with a strike before the hour mark to give Milan the lead.
That goal would be all the Rossoneri would need to hold out for all three points, despite some late Hellas Verona pressure.
The victory sees Milan move back into the hunt for the European places, now two points out of the top-six.
