Chelsea target Liam Delap is set to ask for up to £150,000 per week from whichever club he ends up joining according to reports.
The Blues are braced for another busy summer and it’s thought they could fund their business by selling as many as seven or eight players.
Chelsea face a critical window with the Blues looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad.
The main priority for the Blues is to sign a striker, and they’ve paid the price for failing to sign an alternative to Nicolas Jackson last summer and in January.
Chelsea have identified Delap as one of their main summer targets, and the 22-year-old is available for £30m after Ipswich’s relegation from the Premier League was confirmed.
Delap has impressed this season with 12 Premier League goals, and Maresca is said to be putting pressure on Chelsea to sign the striker.

It’s thought Delap will wait until the end of the season to decide his next club, with European football said to be a key factor.
A number of clubs are interested including Manchester United, but some could be put off by his reported wage demands.
Chronicle Live have reported Delap is expected to ask for between £120,000-£150,000 per week, which is significantly more than he currently earns.
If the Blues miss out on Delap or opt against signing him, they do have other options with Bundesliga duo Benjamin Sesko and Hugo Ekitike said to be on the shortlist.
Victor Osimhen still gets mentioned, but it’s thought a move for him is unlikely, whilst Viktor Gyokeres is believed to prefer a move to Arsenal or Liverpool.

The striker market isn’t the best, but what the Blues really need is a proven goalscorer to come in and make an instant impact.
Whoever Chelsea end up signing it’s vital they make the right decision, because if they get it wrong it could set them back next season and beyond.
