The mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri once again talked about the new stadium of Roma.
During his interview with Un giorno da pecora, broadcast on Rai Radio 1, Gualtieri confirmed the plans for Roma’s new stadium in Pietralata.

“For the first match in the new stadium of Roma in Pietralata we are working on an official opening in 2028,” he said.
“Now it all depends on the definitive project,” he clariefied.
Initially the plan was to inaugurate the facility in 2027, the year of the centenary of the club, but bureaucratic difficulties have inevitably delayed the original plans.
