Como put together a slick move to break the deadlock in the seventh minute of their home clash with Serie A Femminile leaders Juventus. Alex Kerr latched onto Nadine Nischler’s backheel to slide a precise strike into the bottom corner. Unfortunately for the hosts, their lead lasted just a matter of minutes before Barbara Bonansea beat Astrid Gilardi’s to a lofted cross to head home her second league goal of the season.

Juventus completed the turnaround in the 31st minute when Cristiana Girelli powered her header out of Gilardi’s reach. Arianna Caruso went on to find the net in first-half stoppage time, giving Juventus a two-goal lead at the break. Any fading hope of a Como fightback was quashed by Eva Schatzer’s 73rd-minute effort. The 19-year-old fired the ball in off the far post to round off a successful away performance.
