The brass at La Liga outfit Sevilla have opened negotiations with their counterparts at Aston Villa, over a potential January sale.
That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, citing L’Équipe, who point towards Loïc Badé as the subject of the talks in question.
Badé is for his part in the midst of another fine campaign to date, which has seen the Frenchman, despite Sevilla’s hit-and-miss form, continue to stand out as one of the finest defenders in Spanish football.
And such endeavours, evidently, have not gone at all unnoticed at Villa Park.
This comes amid confirmation that:
‘Aston Villa have opened talks with Sevilla for Loïc Badé as a concrete option and target.’
Villa’s pursuit is understood to come at the direct request of Unai Emery, who considers Badé the ideal addition to his Claret and Blue backline.
It now remains to be seen if the two parties can come to an agreement on the terms of what would be expected to be a permanent deal.
