Tottenham Hotspur are planning to send Dane Scarlett on loan again in the ongoing window, following his return to the club, according to the Press Association.
The 20-year-old forward came through the Tottenham Hotspur academy and is highly rated at the club.
However, Scarlett has failed to impress in his last two loan spells, with Ipswich Town and Oxford United, respectively.
He joined Oxford in the summer on a season-long loan and scored four times in 20 league appearances for the club.
The Tottenham star failed to establish himself in Oxford’s starting line-up and at the weekend he remained on the bench against Blackburn Rovers.
Spurs have made a call on his future and decided to cut short Scarlett’s loan spell with the Championship outfit by recalling him.
It is claimed the Tottenham hierarchy have a plan to send the 20-year-old on another loan to help with his development.
It is still unclear whether Tottenham have already received any loan requests from clubs for Scarlett.
The 20-year-old has 17 senior appearances for Tottenham under his belt and made his debut against Ludogorets in the Europa League in 2020.
