Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring a potential transfer target that could add creativity to their squad.
With Spurs fans eager for exciting updates, this news has sparked interest and debate.
The player in question has shown flashes of brilliance in the past but has struggled for consistency in recent seasons.
This has led to speculation about his future, and Tottenham appear to be keeping an eye on the situation. Could this be the move to reignite his career?

According to journalist Jack Gaughan, Tottenham are "monitoring" Jack Grealish’s current situation at Manchester City.
The 29-year-old joined City in 2021 after a standout spell at Aston Villa and an impressive showing at the Euros. However, things haven’t gone as planned for Grealish individually during his time at the Etihad.
Grealish has not scored a goal for City since December 16, 2023, and his xG during this period stands at just 1.44. For context, Cristian Romero—a central defender—has an xG of 1.10 in just 12 games this season.
Pep Guardiola’s tactical use of Grealish on the touchline appears to limit his effectiveness, keeping him away from positions where he can make a greater impact.
Spurs’ interest in Grealish wouldn’t be the first time they have pursued the England international. Fans may recall the club’s infamous £3 million bid, including Josh Onomah, back in 2018.
Could this renewed interest finally bring him to North London?
Although Grealish has struggled at City, he has demonstrated his capabilities for England in different tactical setups.
In the Nations League, he scored against Ireland and Finland when deployed in roles that allowed him to get into better-attacking positions.
Against Ireland, he played on the left of a midfield three, while against Finland, he operated on the left-hand side of a 4-2-3-1 formation.
However, integrating Grealish into Tottenham’s current squad raises questions. Dejan Kulusevski has been Spurs’ standout performer this season, thriving as a focal point in attack.
Grealish’s need to be the "main man" might clash with Kulusevski’s role. Additionally, James Maddison has been quietly productive and could see his position disrupted by another attack-minded midfielder.
Should Grealish play on the left wing, his lack of pace and inconsistent goal threat could be a concern. A hypothetical front three of Johnson, Solanke, and Grealish may not provide enough firepower to compete at the highest level.
While Grealish’s talent is undeniable, Tottenham’s interest might make sense only under specific conditions: a dry loan with no obligation to buy and minimal financial risk.
