AC Milan announced the signing of Santiago Gimenez earlier today, and the Mexican striker has spoken to Milanisti for the first time today.
It is a real statement of intent from Milan to bring the striker to the club in January, considering all the factors. A signing that can potentially define an era, it can be argued that Gimenez’s arrival is the first of its kind in some time, and there is a huge amount of hope for the future of the former Feyenoord man.
Today, after his signing was announced, he spoke officially for the first time as a Rossonero via the club’s X page, after earlier messages were probably made too early.
“Hi Milanisti, Santiago Gimenez here. First of all, I want to send you all a big hug and say that I will see you soon at San Siro to celebrate a lot of goals. All the best!”
It has also been confirmed that the new arrival will take the number seven shirt, which was previously worn by Alvaro Morata, here is to hoping that his record is better than the departed Spaniard’s.
