Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “It was a very good, comfortable performance from the first minute. We played really good football. We deserved to win by that margin too. It was a mature performance, which isn’t easy after Thursday’s tiring journey.”

Head coach Dino Toppmöller: “It was a superb performance from my team after a difficult game and journey on Thursday. We never had the feeling on the bench that things could get tricky for us. We had chances to score more goals at the end – Kevin Müller made a couple of good saves. Nene Brown has been playing brilliantly for weeks. He has taken his chance in spectacular style.”

Ellyes Skhiri: “We did well – it was a very good game. It was important to maintain our momentum. Our combination play is working well, as is our work ethic as a team. Then there’s the positive atmosphere and the fun we’re having together. We always want to win. We have to keep this up.”
