West Ham aim to get back to winning ways on home soil when they welcome relegated Southampton on Saturday, April 19 at 3pm.
The Saints are already preparing for life back in the Championship, with their immediate return confirmed with seven matches still to play.
Meanwhile, West Ham will be looking to embark on a strong run of form to finish a difficult season on a positive note.
West Ham will be the favourites to take all three points against Southampton, who have only won twice in the Premier League all season.
Although, it is worth noting the Hammers have failed to score in three of their last five games at the London Stadium.
At the time of writing, the Saints have been shown 78 yellow cards this season.
With 87, Chelsea are the only side to receive more in the Premier League.
At the time of writing, West Ham are without a win in four games, and that streak is likely to continue against title-chasing Liverpool at Anfield.
Although well away from the threat of relegation, the Hammers will want to finish as high as possible, and certainly improve their current position of 16th.
Having replaced Julen Lopetegui midway through the campaign, Graham Potter will be keen to get it out of the way and start looking ahead to his first full season in charge.
As for Southampton, their return to Premier League has been a brief and humbling one.
The Saints will be desperate to give their fans something to cheer about, and provide cause for optimism ahead of next season.
But for now, their primary focus is on reaching 12 points, thus avoiding recording the lowest tally in Premier League history (currently 11 by Derby County in 2007-08).
Aaron Cresswell could be unavailable for the Hammers due to a muscular injury, while the game may also be too soon for Crysencio Summerville, who has a thigh problem.
Michail Antonio remains a long-term absentee.
Flynn Downes will be available for selection once more, having missed last two matches through suspension after receiving 10 yellow cards this season.
West Ham have won the last two meetings between the sides, having prevailed just once in the previous six encounters.
