The international break is behind us, and club football is back with a bang as the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals take center stage.
Paris Saint-Germain are set to take on Aston Villa in a high-stakes clash with a semifinal spot up for grabs. PSG booked their place with a dramatic penalty shootout win over Liverpool in the Round of 16, showing resilience under pressure.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, cruised past Club Brugge with an impressive 6-1 aggregate win. Adding extra spice to this matchup, Unai Emery and Marco Asensio will both be looking to get the better of their former club, making this encounter even more compelling.

While speaking to the media on Friday, PSG manager Luis Enrique spoke about facing his compatriot in a matchup where the winner is only one win away from reaching the Champions League final.
“Emery is a top coach—he’s already proven that with several teams,” Enrique said (h/t Made In Foot). “We know what kind of opponent we’re up against. This is an even more complete team than last year. They’re not going to win the match just because Emery knows me well, or vice versa.”
It will be interesting to see what Emery says about Enrique and his return to the French capital to face his former club.
