Kick-off in the Champions League meeting between Real Madrid and Stade Brestois on Wednesday evening was delayed.
This came owing to developments in the stands at the Stade de Roudourou.
Spanish champions Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the continent.
As part of the final round of fixtures in the league phase of the newly-formatted Champions League, Los Blancos have made the trip to France, for a meeting with the aforementioned Brest.
As things stand, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops remain deadlocked, at 0-0.
As alluded to above, though, this comes only after kick-off in the clash was delayed by several minutes.
After a series of flares were set off in the Stade de Roudourou stands, the stadium quickly began to fill with thick clouds of smoke.
So much so that those in charge of proceedings were left with no choice but to push back kick-off in the matchup.
