Barcelona star Wojciech Szczęsny has forwarded a message of advice and encouragement to future Polish players, regarding a possible future with the club.

Goalkeeper Szczęsny is for his part of course fresh off another night to remember between the posts on Wednesday.

Featuring from the off in Barcelona’s Copa del Rey semi-final 2nd leg showdown with Atlético Madrid, the former Arsenal and Juventus man managed his latest clean sheet, to guide the Blaugrana to a finale berth.

This kept alive what has been nothing short of a remarkable start to life for Szczęsny in Barca colours, eith the 34-year-old yet to taste defeat across 19 appearances.

And if the latest comments on the part of the shot-stopper himself are anything to go by, then Szczęsny appears to be thoroughly enjoying his time in Spain.

Speaking to the Polish media in the aftermath of Wednesday’s Metropolitano clash, the Pole sent a message to his fellow countrymen, explaining:

“Playing for Barcelona is very interesting, I recommend it to all future Polish players. Work hard, maybe you will get an opportunity like this one day.”
