According to a report from L’Équipe journalist Tanzi Loïc, Wolverhampton Wanderers are pushing to recruit Marshall Munetsi (28) from Stade de Reims.
The Premier League side are thought to be in discussion with their French counterparts as they try to convince them to allow the Zimbabwean international to leave on transfer deadline day. Loïc writes that there will be a big compensation fee for the midfielder although exact details have not yet been disclosed.
Wolves have been active this transfer window and have looked to the French market to strengthen their team ahead of the final stretch of the campaign. The English team had been linked with Kevin Danso (26) who arrived at Tottenham Hotspur from RC Lens and signed Emmanuel Agbadou from Reims.
Wolves are currently sat 17th in the table only two points above the relegation zone. The club won their first game in six Premier League games when they defeated Aston Villa over the weekend.
