I believe this bit of exclusive transfer news out this week is going to have Chelsea fans excited just to hear of the interest in the player.
It does not sound like Chelsea are doing anything serious about it yet though, but that could soon change if other interested clubs come forward and make their moves.
One of the most exciting forwards in the game right now in my opinion is Wolves striker Matheus Cunha, and this season he has really pushed on and elevated himself as one of the best performing strikers around. This form has led to him being linked with many of the top clubs, with some of them now pondering making a move.
Chelsea already signed one of Wolves best players in the summer, with Pedro Neto arriving at Stamford Bridge, could they be about to look into signing another?
Well, according to an exclusive report from Caught Offside, they are most certainly one of the clubs interested in Cunha as he continues to rise this season, scoring 10 goals and creating 4.
Cunha catching the eye of many
Chelsea are clearly looking at new striker options and they have been linked with the likes of Victor Osimhen and even Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap in recent weeks and months.
But this report name drops them alongside other big clubs for Cunha now as well.
Heading into January, Wolves are apparently determined to keep hold of the Brazilian star as the 25-year-old has attracted a lot of attention.
Arsenal have genuine interest in Cunha; while Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Napoli, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and AC Milan have all shown some level of interest in the 25-year-old, which could lead to the forward leaving Molineux in 2025. However, Wolves will reportedly make it difficult for them with their contract offer to the player pending.
