Leeds United are up to 2nd in the Championship table after registering a fifth successive league win, having come away from Bristol City with a 1-0 victory on Friday night.

Daniel Farke’s men have played two more games than Southampton and Ipswich Town, but their relentless form has put the pressure on their promotion rivals. A place in the play-offs looks all but secure at this stage, but the club have their sights set on the top two.

“There can be no complacency when you are a good run like we are right now. We have to respect each and every opponent. Football is never fair and you have to grab your reward,” Farke told Leeds Live following the win at Ashton Gate.

“We deserved to win today but you have to grab it. If you want to be in a position come next May where you have something to cheer about, you need this consistency in this league. We are doing it at the moment and it is fantastic.”

Here are 10 statistics that underline just how good Farke’s Leeds have been of late.

– Leeds have kicked off a calendar year with five league wins for the first time in the club’s history.

– They are the only side of the 72 clubs in the Football League to have maintained a 100% league record in 2024. Leeds’ aggregate Championship score in 2024 is 10-1.

– Leeds are also the only team in the entire Football League that remain unbeaten at home this season. In the top four tiers of English football, it’s only Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester City that are yet to taste defeat on home soil in 2023-24.
