The Lions should be looking to address their wing area - and they could recruit one or two free agents to add depth in this position.

Millwall have made a number of intelligent signings this summer.

Macaulay Langstaff has been a prolific goalscorer for Notts County in recent seasons and could add plenty of firepower up top for the Lions.

He will need to make the step up two divisions and that's why the decision to sign him is a bit of a risk, but it's a gamble that could pay dividends for the Championship side.

Japhet Tanganga also looks to be an excellent permanent addition, having spent time on loan at The Den last season.

He could help to solidify Neil Harris' side's defence - and some much-needed signings have been recruited in the goalkeeping area.

Following the tragic passing of Matija Sarkic and Bartosz Białkowski's departure following the expiration of his deal, Lukas Jensen and Liam Roberts have arrived.

The former made the move from Lincoln City, who did well under Michael Skubala last term and can count themselves unlucky not to have been in the promotion mix at the end of last term.

Overall, the Lions haven't spent too much this summer and they could utilise the loan market between now and the end of the summer window.

In this piece though, we are taking a look at two players that the club could look to sign on free transfers.

Luton Town released Fred Onyedinma in the summer and that wasn't a massive surprise considering the Hatters have plenty of other attacking players at their disposal.

But their loss could be another club's gain, with the wide player having plenty of EFL experience under his belt.

Proving to be a real asset at Wycombe Wanderers, his contributions at Adams Park allowed him to make the switch to Kenilworth Road.

He has recently been on trial at Stoke City and with the player likely to be in decent shape because of this, he could make a good impact at The Den during the early stages of the campaign.

It definitely feels as though the Lions could benefit from having more attacking assets out wide.

Now they have the likes of Langstaff, Kevin Nisbet and Tom Bradshaw as decent striker options, they need service and Onyedinma's pace could help the former Chairboy to provide for the Lions' main striker.

With his experience and speed, he would be a low-risk option to have in the English capital.

2 Ovie Ejaria

Ovie Ejaria is a very talented player when he's on top form, but he hasn't played competitive football for a very long time.

Since his departure from Reading, the ex-Liverpool man has found it difficult to find a new club, and that's a huge shame for someone of his calibre.

He can slow attacks down at times and that's a key weakeness of his, but technically, he is a superb player to have at this level with his trickery often featuring in highlight reels.

Able to operate as a central advanced midfielder and a wide player, his versatility could come in handy and it could even allow Harris to switch up systems.

If they can get him fit and on form, he would be a very shrewd addition.
