The 2023/24 PFA Premier League Team of the Year has been decided, with stars from Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Aston Villa getting the nod.

At the back, Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya gets the nod after a Golden Glove-winning campaign which saw him keep a whopping 16 clean sheets for the Gunners.

His centre-back partners, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, also make the cut after forming the meanest defence in the Premier League. Arsenal conceded just 29 goals across their 38 games, with Saliba playing every available minute for Mikel Arteta's side.

Liverpool centre-back Virgil van Dijk also makes the cut after an impressive individual season which saw him prove many of his doubters wrong on his return to full fitness after his nasty injury. There's also a place for Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker - the first of four representatives from the Premier League champions.

Heading into midfield, Arsenal dominate once again, with both Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard earning spots. The former managed seven goals and nine assists across his 38 appearances, while the latter chipped in with eight and ten of his own.

The pair are joined in midfield by Euro 2024 winner Rodri, who did not lose in any of his 34 outings while also racking up eight goals and nine assists for Pep Guardiola's title winners.

The forward line is dominated by City, who scored more goals than any other side in the division.

Headlining the remaining trio is the division's top scorer, Erling Haaland who, despite battling injuries, still managed to rack up 27 goals in 31 games. Phil Foden, the Premier League Player of the Season, is an unsurprising addition.

The final spot goes to Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins, who enjoyed a simply sublime campaign which yielded 19 goals and 13 assists for Unai Emery's side.
