FC Barcelona is a club that has made special memories at many memorable stadiums and venues. Given the prestige and success of the club, it is almost taken for granted that they have seen their colors flourish in some historic locations. Yet, while Barcelona as a club can hold memories like, so can the players individually.

Beyond just the sights of Wembley in England or the Olympiastadion in Berlin, there are some rather unconventional places where certain players seem to have great memories associated. Such is the nature of football in general, and also for some Barcelona players.

One of those players just so happens to be Ansu Fati, the prodigal son of Barcelona who was kept from having the meteoric rise that he seemed destined to be on. Once regarded as the heir to the throne left by Lionel Messi, he has since battled way too many unfortunate injuries.

Now, however, he may have his opportunity to earn himself some more minutes this season at a venue that is particular special to him. As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, that stadium would be CA Osasuna’s El Sadar, the place where Ansu Fati first tasted independent glory.

The kind of glory that had his name etched into the history books at that point in time. By scoring his first official goal for the Barcelona first team back in 2019 at the tender age of 16 years and 304 days, he became the youngest player to score for the club and also became the third youngest goalscorer in La Liga history.

So far this season, the €25 million-rated player is yet to add a goal to his tally or even feature prominently for the team after recovering from his injury. Fortunately, he still seems to have the trust of Hansi Flick and it would be a great opportunity for Fati against a familiar opponent to finally get some more minutes.
