This Baggies trio could end up playing their football away from the Hawthorns next season.

West Brom are set up to have a successful campaign next time out, following on from their finish in the play-off spots in the 2023/24 season.

Not only have they kept their manager Carlos Corberan amid interest from clubs like Burnley and Leicester City, they also have more money than they have previously had to spend in the transfer market in recent times.

Previous owner Guochuan Lai didn't have the necessary capital during his final days as owner of West Brom to provide a consistently good squad for Corberan to work with.

Tampa-based businessman Shilen Patel bought 87.8% of the club in late February, taking over from Lai. Albion should be able to finally open the wallet up a bit more for Corberan's use as he tries to construct a promotion-winning squad.

In the midst of that, though, there are some players who could be going the other way this summer - FLW takes a look at three who could be on the move.

Okay Yokuslu

The Turkish midfielder has been such a steady presence in the middle of the park for West Brom, but now it seems a return to his home country is on the cards.

Ertan Suzgun - a Turkish journalist - said on Play Spor, on Tuesday, that Besiktas had agreed personal terms with Okay Yokuslu.

"If West Bromwich goes down a little and Besiktaş goes up a little, the transfer fee is okay. The final decision will be made by the coach," added Suzgun, via Birmingham World.

The 30-year-old's former club Trabzonspor have also been reported to be interested in signing him, although Hull City are now also keen on keeping the international midfielder in England.

Yokuslu's eventual destination is uncertain, but a departure certainly appears to be as he has less than one year remaining on his contract.

John Swift

While interest in John Swift appears to have cooled off, there is still a chance that he could leave The Hawthorns this summer.

Football Insider initially reported that Middlesbrough were plotting a move to sign the Baggies midfielder, but the Northern Echo have since said that this isn't the case right now.

They added that talks were held about Swift by the recruitment team, but they are not lining up any bids for Swift, though the chance of them revisiting a move for the 29-year-old at some point before the end of the window is still a possibility, as per the Echo.

Ex-Reading midfielder Swift is now into the final year of his current deal with West Brom, making a move away all the more likely as they might look to cash in on him rather than risking losing him for free - he may have hit the back of the net nine times last season in the Championship, but the Baggies could potentially find an improvement.

Mo Faal

Whereas the previous two players are ones that would likely leave permanently, Mo Faal would probably only be away from the Albion for a season, like he was last time out.

The forward spent the last campaign with both Doncaster Rovers and Walsall in League Two, where he impressed in spells. The Baggies under-21 scored 13 times in 45 appearances for Donny and the Saddlers; only 29 of which were starts.

Given his success in the fourth tier last season, and the gap between his parent club and that level, it stands to reason that Faal may be shipped off to a higher end League Two team, or even somewhere in the division above.
