3rd free agent target ‘back in the orbit’ of Barcelona | OneFootball

The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation of Bayer Leverkusen star Jonathan Tah.

That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Sky Germany, who have confirmed that defender Tah intends to depart the BayArena as a free agent next summer.

Barcelona, for their part, expressed a keen interest in the German international back in August, but ultimately came up short in their pursuit.

In the knowledge that he is seeking out a new adventure for next season, though, Tah is now ‘back in the orbit’ of the Blaugrana.

As per Sport:

‘Bayern Munich and Barça are the favourites despite the fact that there are several Premier League teams that have also contacted his entourage.’

Tah is the third high-profile up-and-coming free agent to have been tipped to link up with Hansi Flick’s Barcelona squad over the course of the last week, after Lille frontman Jonathan David, and Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané.
