It lacked quality, it lacked creativity, it lacked thinking and it lacked confidence.

The Danish forward struggled to make an impact, failing to register a single shot on target and appearing disconnected from the team’s attacking efforts.

His inability to hold up the ball and link play contributed to United’s lackluster attacking display.

This performance adds to a series of underwhelming displays from Hojlund, who has struggled to find form in the Premier League this season.

His continued selection in the starting lineup, despite these challenges, has raised questions among fans and pundits alike about the team’s attacking options and depth.

With no key passes for the Danish striker in the match against Chelsea, the fact that the lost possession of the bal 13 times was a highly concerning for Ruben Amorim.

It remains to be seen if he will start the Europa League final on the 21st May against Tottenham.

Amorim is currently struggling for options otherwise it would have been the easiest decision to bench the former Atalanta striker.
