While there are no new additions expected in their team in the January transfer window, FC Barcelona are still expected to strengthen their forward line in the next summer transfer window.
The position Barcelona is prioritizing the most for reinforcement is the left wing, with one of the most prominent names linked to them being the Napoli winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
However, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the €85m-rated Georgian winger has already decided to renew his contract with Napoli till 2029, thus putting an end to speculation about a possible move to Barcelona.

The Blaugranes are looking for another threatening player on the left wing, mainly because currently they have only Raphinha as their main left winger. While Ansu Fati can also be an option for Flick for this position, he has been once again struggling with fitness this season and has not really got many minutes on the pitch.
In such a scenario, Flick has resorted to playing players like Fermin Lopez in this position when Raphinha was unavailable or has had to deploy him on the right wing in the absence of Lamine Yamal, or even as an attacking midfielder.
With Kvaratskhelia’s decision, Barcelona will have to rule out one of their left-wing targets. However, they still have several alternatives for this position, as they have also been linked with players like Rafael Leao and Nico Williams.
But to be able to sign any of these players, the Catalans will have to get their finances in order, and get back to the 1:1 status. For this purpose, they have already sold their VIP seats, but it remains to be seen whether this sale will be enough to cover the required financial fair play ground and get back to working normally in the market.
