A lot of changes took place at Carrow Road over the summer, as former manager David Wagner was relieved of his duties following a crushing 4-0 defeat at the hands of Leeds United during last season's play-off semi-final.

Wagner was replaced by current boss Johannes Hoff Thorup, who has guided the Canaries to positive results, such as the aforementioned convincing win over Hull, but the Norfolk outfit have also suffered some poor results under his stewardship so far, including a 2-1 loss at relegation-threatened Cardiff City.

Last summer also witnessed Canaries academy product Adam Idah leave Carrow Road in favour of joining reigning Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, in a deal worth £9.5m, including add-ons, as per Sky Sports.

Idah's Celtic career so far

Idah initially joined the Bhoys on loan for the latter half of last season, and his then temporary tenure with the Glasgow giants could hardly have gone better.

In fact, his efforts in the final third fired Brendan Rodgers' side to the Premiership title, as he bagged eight goals and two assists in 15 league appearances.

But most notably, the 23-year-old scored a last minute winner as the Bhoys beat bitter rivals Rangers 1-0 in the Scottish FA Cup final back in the spring.

It is no wonder then, that Rodgers and co were so keen on bringing the Canaries academy product to Celtic Park on a permanent basis, and paid almost £10m to do so.

But after signing permanent terms with the Bhoys in mid-August, Idah did not find himself on the scoresheet until finding the back of the net as a late substitute during his side's emphatic 5-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League over a month later.

The goals would then begin to flow for the Ireland international, though, as he scored a brace during his next appearance when Rodgers' men thrashed Scottish Championship side Falkirk 5-2 in the League Cup quarter-final on 22nd September.

Then, just six days later, the former Canaries man found his first league goal of the campaign, as the Glasgow giants hammered St Johnstone 6-0 in the Premiership.

However, since September, Idah has managed to score just one goal, which came during a 3-0 win at Motherwell last month, although he boasts a thoroughly decent record of five goals in 15 appearances across all competitions so far this term.

Idah is clearly enjoying life at Celtic

After signing for the Bhoys last summer, the striker wrote on Instagram: "Honey... I'm home.

"Can't wait to see you all soon."

And his time at Celtic Park has clearly satisfied his expectations so far, as after scoring his maiden Champions League goal in September, he posted: "Nights I've dreamt of.

"Champions League debut, goal & win.

posted: "Fans were unreal as always!
