The club’s victory against Kilmarnock sealed their third consecutive Premiership victory and their 54th Scottish title. The match took place at Rugby Park and ended with a 5-0 victory against Kilmarnock. Adam Idah scored the first goal, which was followed by Daizen Maeda 12 minutes into the game. James Forrest then raised the score to three before halftime. Midfielder Matt O’Riley scored a double during the second half to take the team’s total score to five.

Adam Idah’s crucial role in Celtic’s SPFL title

Adam Idah made history as he helped the Bhoys win their 54th Scottish Premiership title. What’s even more impressive is the fact that he arrived at Celtic from Norwich on a loan deal. Idah was also the star of Celtic’s game against theRangers in the Scottish Cup Final. Idah’s performance in the league was so impressive that the Celtic club decided to sign him to stay with the team permanently. The deal will last five years and cost the club £9.5 million. This makes Idah the second most expensive player in the history of the club.

Idah’s total goals in his 116 appearances at the Canaries was just 17. The striker has shown better prowess on the pitch in his time at Celtic. The 23-year old scored nine goals in 19 appearances last season, and his stats show he nailed 1.26 goals and 3.15 shots on target from 5.35 shots per 90 minutes in the same period.

According to Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, the club is moving in the right direction as they secured a long-term deal with Idah. The manager affirmed how Idah contributed to Celtic’s success last season, even though he was on loan at the time. Rodgers related how the Irish player’s quest for excellence and commitment can make a difference to the Bhoys. In an interview, Idah also expressed happiness to be back at Celtic. According to the Celtic star, his family and friends wanted him at Celtic and it was a dream come true to stay with the team under a five-year contract.

The current season has been full of unmet expectations from Celtic’s number-nine player. Idah hit the ground running during his presence at Celtic on loan, but the striker hasn’t scored goals as expected. The Irish player currently has six goals to his name after 21 game appearances in the league. However, Idah mentioned in a recent interview that he’ll continue to do his best for the team as Celtic’s number-one striker.
