Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for a crucial UEFA Champions League semifinal, with just 180 minutes separating them from a spot in the final. The two teams previously faced off in the group stage, but PSG has since made significant improvements.

PSG also advanced with a 5-1 advantage, though their path was much more tense, narrowly edging out a 5-4 aggregate win.

Neither team is entering this matchup on a high note. PSG drew 1-1 with FC Nantes and suffered an unexpected loss to OGC Nice, ending their unbeaten streak in Ligue 1. Meanwhile, Arsenal played to a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

Ahead of the first leg between Arsenal and PSG on Tuesday, Aaron Ramsdale spoke to talkSPORT and he shared his thoughts on the Gunners chances against the Parisians in this tie.

“They definitely back themselves against Real Madrid and have shown what they can do against that team. They’ve already beaten PSG, which can give them great confidence. I know two legs can be tough, but they’re still in it, still pushing. For me, I think they’ll get through, and they’ll be the favorites to win it.”

It will be interesting to see how the first 90 minutes of the tie go and which side can gain the advantage heading into the return leg.
