The statistics across Erling Haaland’s first 100 games are absurd. There is no other way to describe it. He has scored 91 goals and added 15 assists in those games. Those statistics alone defy logic. Erling Haaland is scoring goals for Manchester City at a level that only Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have reached during their illustrious careers. Haaland has also taken out several prestigious individual awards across his first 100 games for Manchester City. Haaland has claimed the Premier League Player of the Season, FWA Footballer of the Year, PFA Player of the Year, runner-up in the Ballon d’Or and Best Men’s Player at the Globe Soccer Awards. He has won the Premier League Golden Boot twice. It is an absurd resume for City’s star striker.

Along the way, Erling Haaland has been a vital contributor to Manchester City’s recent success. But based on his display against Chelsea and coupled with his determination and drive it is a real possibility. That is also a frightening proposition to ponder for Manchester City’s rivals during the 24/25 season and beyond.
