Agent Cheikh Fall told TMW: "The reasoning is always the same. He can only leave Sampdoria if a big bid comes: let's say a bid that cannot be resisted.

"He will never leave this team for clubs and salaries at the same level or slightly higher.

"He's fine in Sampdoria and (the city) of Genoa. He will never leave this team for clubs and salaries at the same level or slightly higher. In fact, we have always snubbed similar offers in recent years."
