Ajax make approach for Roma youngster Benjamin Tahirović | OneFootball

Benjamin Tahirović reportedly has the possibility of leaving Roma on a permanent deal to Ajax in the next few days.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Benjamin Tahirović has received many offers from Sassuolo, Genoa and Salernitana along with top European clubs like Ajax and Marseille.

It is expected that Ajax will come out as winners in the race for the Bosnian midfielder which will conclude in the coming days.

The 20-year-old mostly played from the bench last season but made his breakthrough under the guidance of Jose Mourinho like his fellow teammates Edoardo Bove, Nicola Zalewski and Cristian Volpato.

Decisive hours lie ahead surrounding Tahirović as he nears his departure from the Giallorossi after coming to the club in February 2021.

The player is convinced by the Ajax project and though the Dutch club lost their league title defence last season, they are willing to strengthen their side to enthusiastically challenge for the Eredivisie once again.
