Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla reveals Inter Milan have set their sights on highly-rated Como starlet Nico Paz.
Speaking on his YouTube channel via FCInter1908, Pedulla confirmed Inter’s interest in the ex-Real Madrid youngster.
Stiff competition for places at the Santiago Bernabeu forced the 20-year-old to leave his boyhood club this summer.
Meanwhile, Cesc Fabregas was happy to take the skilled advanced playmaker to Como.
It has proved a match made in heaven.
Despite Como’s topsy-turvy maiden season in Serie A, the Argentine prodigy has been phenomenal.
Nico Paz has scored two goals and made four assists in 15 Serie A appearances for Fabregas’ side this term.
Therefore, several top clubs in Italy and abroad have identified him as a potential January target.
In addition to Paz, Simone Inzaghi’s men are keeping close tabs on Parma’s Adrian Bernabe.
“Inter are always active in the transfer market,” Pedulla said.
“They monitor potential free transfers, but also young players of high quality who are imposing themselves, also in the Serie A.
“For example, Bernabe and Nico Paz are profiles recently monitored by Inter.
“But this is part of a process which then can lead the club to make a move.
“But it’s still premature to discuss this.”
