All eyes on Morata as Milan fans prepare for Spain-England final | OneFootball

Alvaro Morata appears to be just one step away from joining AC Milan, having given them the initial go-ahead, and the final answer is expected in the coming days. First, however, he will be fully focused on winning the Euros with Spain.

Spain have been the best team in the tournament thus far and after beating France in the semi-finals, they will be up against England. Bar the first half against the Netherlands, the Three Lions have been far from brilliant and Spain are the favourites.

Their captain, Morata, has been heavily linked with Milan in recent weeks and an agreement appears to be just one step away. The striker is currently focused on the Euros and will make his final decision after, but both his entourage and Milan are confident.

Tonight, the final will take place – more specifically at 21:00 CEST – and most Milan fans will be keeping a close eye on Morata. Being one of the biggest games you can play as a footballer, it will certainly tell us a lot even if it won’t be a deal-breaker in the Rossoneri’s eyes.

It remains to be seen who will come out on top but as said, Morata’s Spain are the favourites to lift the trophy later this evening.
