After securing the signings of free agent Andrea Belotti and Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara, Roma have accelerated talks regarding the permanent departures of Amadou Diawara and Riccardo Calafiori.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Diawara is the closest of the two to a move to Anderlecht after declining several proposals including a recent one from newly promoted Serie A side Lecce.
The capital club are finalizing a permanent exit for the Guinean midfielder and would retain a percentage of Diawara’s future sale.
In the meantime, out-of-favor fullback Riccardo Calafiori has also been approached by Anderlecht and is now evaluating the offer. The player seems to be inclined to accept the proposals only two days away from the transfer deadline.
